Contact & Prices
Please contact me directly if you're interested in purchasing my artwork. You can still take advantage of the fact that I represent myself.
Monoprints are my most popular work and range in price from $200 to $800. The price is based on size, and the piece usually comes unframed; oil paintings range in price from $500 to $8000 and usually come framed.
Commissioned oil portraits that are based on real people or animals start at $2000 per person or animal (discounts on more than two). These are oil paintings on linen or wood and I always like to meet my subject matter if possible. Currently, I have a four month wait on commissions.
Realistic monoprint portraits start at $900. Keep in mind that these are paintings that I transfer to paper so they're originals and done on 100% cotton rag paper.
Non-realistic monoprint commissions (for example, an ostrich with a bottle of wine) range in price from $300 to $800, based on size and the complexity of the subject matter.
Ketubah prices range from $2500 to $6000. Monoprint ketubot are $1500-$2000. The price includes personalized Hebrew and English calligraphy.
Limited edition prints range from $100 to $375. Hand-colored silkscreen prints are $100-$125.
Murals are priced on an hourly basis, starting at $150 per hour.
If you read my twitter feed on my home page, you will get information on where you can find me. I'm always reachable on my cell, (917) 855-6564, or by email, rabbipainter@gmail.com.
My studio/storefront is open by appointment and by luck. It is the best place for serious inquiries, as you will have my undivided attention and access to my full body of available work. Even though my sign on my door reads, "OPEN BY APPOINTMENT AND BY LUCK", making an appointment is strongly suggested.
